The Reports tab

Open a class's Mastery Board and choose Reports. Until someone has a score on that board the tab says there is nothing to report yet. Once there is one, the top of the tab is a list headed Everything this class has been measured on, weakest first. Each row shows:

• The skill or standard, and which of the two it is.
• A bar and the class average on it.
• How many units on this board it was measured across.

Each row carries a radio button, and pressing anywhere on the row chooses it: the report under the list is on whichever row is chosen, and the weakest is chosen until you choose another. The choice is kept in the page's address, so a reload, Back from a child's page, or a favourite of the page comes back to the same one.

The report underneath

Its heading repeats the name, how many items it covers and which units they came from, and the class average. A standard's words are printed under its code, so you don't have to look the code up. Every score that touched it counts, wherever on the board it was marked.

Then the class in three cards — Mastered, Developing and Needs Support — each listing the children in it, lowest first, with their percent. Press a name to open that child's page. Anyone with no score on it is named in a “Not assessed on this” box below, and is left out of the class average rather than counted as a zero.

A Mastery Board whose questions carry no skill or standard is reported unit by unit instead, and says so on the tab. Give those questions a skill or a standard in Board Templates and it reports by skill and standard.

Print at the top right asks whether to print the one on screen or every one, each on its own page.
