What to reteach
The letters and words a class missed on one unit, hardest first, and the children who missed each one.
On a Mastery Board, open the Assessments tab and the unit you marked. What to reteach sits beside the unit's name, next to Print sheet. It appears once that unit has the letters, words or sentences from the paper on it, because those are what it counts.
Reteach first
The first list is up to ten words, ordered by the share of the class who missed each one — a word four of five children got wrong comes before one that five of nineteen missed. Beside each word: how many missed it, out of the children whose words are known, and their names. Press a name to open that child's page.
Skill by skill
Under that, every skill with words on it. The one whose words went worst is already open; press any other heading to open it. Each lists every word on the paper, most-missed first, with who missed it. A sentence marked a word at a time underlines only the words that were missed, and says how many missed each.
A mark entered as a total — typed straight into the grid, or brought in by an import — says how many a child missed but not which. Those are left out of the counts rather than read as clean, and the page says how many were left out. Full marks still count: nothing was missed.
A child marked absent is left out too: they were never asked. A skill with no words on it yet is named at the foot of the page, so you can see why nothing is said about it.
Back to recording returns to the unit you came from. If the same children keep missing the same skill, the board's Small groups tab can make a group from that skill.
