If you forget your password

1. On the sign-in page, choose Forgot password?
2. Type the email address your school invited, and send it.
3. Open the link in the email. It works once, and only for a while.
4. Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app, the same as signing in.
5. Choose a new password — at least 8 characters — and you're back in.

The link can be opened on any device, so asking from a classroom computer and opening it on your phone is fine.

Mastery Board never says whether an address has an account, on this page or the sign-in page. If no email arrives, check the address is the one your school invited, and look in spam.

A password link doesn't replace the code from your authenticator app — it is asked for on the way through, before the new password. If you've lost the phone as well, ask an administrator at your school to reset your two-step sign-in first.

If you know your current password and simply want a different one, open Your profile instead. It asks for the current one first.
